Here is a little job we did for a retired couple who live in Sunland Village, in Mesa Arizona. The home was previously appointed with outside mount vertical blinds with a heavy fabric cornice board above. This home was a smaller floor plan with standard 8 foot ceilings. As such, the outside mount vertical blinds and cornice were improperly scaled to the space - making the rooms feel smaller - not to mention out of date.
In order to properly scale the job to the space and to meet the requirement of a clean look, we provided a shutter with a medium Z frame, 3 1/2" louver, bright white color, and hidden tilt. We also included a split tilt feature allowing for increased light and privacy control. The results were amazingly transformational. The added value to the home was undeniable and the look is now timeless.
